The Transrotor FMD is a totally unique and revolutionary solution in the turntable world.


The heart of the Transrotor Rondino is a drive concept called "Free Magnetic Drive", or FMD, which places a non-contact magnetic coupling as an additional decoupling step between a belt-driven drive plate and the actual inner platter.

Ten neodymium magnets embedded in the drive plate attract the corresponding counterparts on the underside of the inner plate and thus transmit some torque. The emphasis is on "a little": the greater the distance between the pairs of magnets, the more elastic the invisible connection between them and the more gently the motor force acts.

With its free magnetic drive, this turntable is quieter, more engaging, more involved and more dynamic than anything else in its price range. NO BELT between the platter bearing and the magnetic chassis, for a contactless drive.

    The new Transrotor Rondino is elegant and stylish. Its sculptural, rounded appearance will appeal to many.
