Cartridge Hana serie E

The E series of the HANA phono cell family is an entry-level cell, but don't be fooled, it will surprise you!

The HANA series is both affordable and high performance. It's a great introduction to the world of MC moving coil phono cells, and a real upgrade for any quality turntable.

If you're looking to push the limits of your turntable, as a replacement for a moving magnet (MM) cartridge for example, then the Hana E cartridge is an excellent choice.

Handcrafted in Japan, the MC HANA EL is equipped with ALNICO magnets, a synthetic elliptical diamond and an aluminium cantilever.

The voice coils are made of 4N grade copper (99.99% pure), and the green ABS shell is coloured in the mass. The connectors are gold-plated for optimum transfer quality and increased durability of the cell.

The HANA EL is a "low level" cartridge, which requires the use of an MC phono pre-amplifier developing ideally 400 ohms at least.

The HANA EH is a "high level" version that uses over-winding to provide a 47k ohm load.

It can be used with a simple MM pre-amplifier, such as those found natively in some turntables or integrated amplifiers.

Although the output level of this range is relatively low (2mV), the use of a rather sensitive MM phono pre-amplifier is recommended for optimal use of this range.

Finally, for those who are looking for a high level version of the HANA EL, the HANA EH will meet their expectations.
