Hana HL

The HANA EH cell is a Japanese wonder that uses ALNICO magnets and a synthetic elliptical diamond glued to the end of an aluminium cantilever.

The coils are made of pure 4N copper, and the shell is dyed a delicate green. The rear connectors are plated with 24k gold for optimum transfer quality and durability. The HANA EH is a top level cartridge that uses an over-wound design to provide an output impedance of 47kOhms. It has an output level of 2mV / 1kHz, which means that it does not necessarily require the use of an MC compatible phono preamplifier.

This means that a simple MM preamplifier will do.

We still recommend that you choose your MM preamplifier carefully, given the incredible performance of the HANA EH.
