2020 is an exciting year for music lovers and audiophiles, as the Hana Umami Red Series arrives on the market followed in 2023 by the Umami Blue!

The HANA-Umami high-end moving coil cartridges are the result of the vision of master cartridge designer Okada-san, combined with the use of unique materials, classic Japanese techniques and modern audio engineering.

The Umami Blue and Red Series

This series features an Auricle™ body, made from Duralumin using state-of-the-art CNC technology. The exceptionally musical Umami Blue shares the key features of the Umami Red, such as the precision-cut diamond stylus, boron cantilever and high-purity copper wires, combined with an Alnico magnet-based generator, found in the renowned Hana ML.

This cell is a true masterpiece, uncompromising and extraordinarily refined, dramatically enhancing the performance of even the most sensitive and defined high-fidelity systems.

With an integral MicroLine diamond, Boron cantilever, Duraluminium A7075 shell, Ebony wood front insert, traditional Urushi lacquer with natural pigments and silver flakes, Samarium-Cobalt magnets, and even cryogenics, Hana has pushed all the limits to give music lovers and audiophiles a cell with performance that is hard to match.
