The Transrotor Dark Star turntable in black satin finish has an exceptional design and already has the musical qualities of much more expensive turntables. It can also be upgraded to a reference version. It is accompanied here by the newly developed Transrotor arm and the high-end Reference M1 power supply.

The chassis is made of a thick black polyoxymethylene (POM) plate. The 3 cm thick frame is supported by three wide cylindrical legs, which can be adjusted for the front legs.

The top is also made of POM, 6 cm thick, with a groove at the bottom to stop vibrations. 

The large mass of the table top contributes to its stability and gives it a high degree of inertia when it rotates. A solid aluminium pressure plate is supplied to ensure an optimal coupling of the disc with the platter.

The Dark Star is also available in a Reference version (with a second POM sub-platter), and a Silver Shadow version (with chrome plated parts).
