T+A SDX 3100 HV - Reference Streaming DAC & Preamplifier

Overview : The T+A SDX 3100 HV pushes the boundaries of digital playback and analog signal routing by housing three reference-grade components within a single 26 kg solid aluminum enclosure. At its core is T+A's proprietary Path Separation Technology: instead of relying on a compromise single-chip DAC, the SDX 3100 HV features two entirely separate conversion paths. PCM streams are decoded by a double-differential quadruple converter using 8 32-bit Burr-Brown chips, while DSD signals bypass PCM processing entirely through the dedicated True 1-Bit converter, supporting native DSD up to DSD1024. Clock accuracy is maintained by the De-Jitter Masterclock system incorporating dual ultra-stable quartz oscillators. Powered by the new ASA G3 High-Res streaming platform (supporting Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music HD, AirPlay 2, and Roon Ready), the unit also features a fully discrete dual-mono high-voltage analog preamplifier section. With relay-based volume control precise to 0.05 dB, analog tone controls, and a high-current Class A headphone amplifier, it serves as the ultimate nerve center for flagship audio systems.
