Designed to encapsulate the performance of dedicated separates within a 32 kg solid aluminum chassis, this unit combines a high-current power amplifier delivering 2 × 500 Watts into 4 Ohms, a precision CD mechanism, an FM/DAB+ hybrid tuner, and the next-generation ASA G3 High-Res streaming engine (supporting Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music HD, AirPlay 2, and Roon Ready). Its digital engine leverages T+A's proprietary Path Separation topology: a double-differential quadruple converter using 8 32-bit Burr-Brown chips for PCM processing, working alongside the dedicated True 1-Bit converter for pure native DSD decoding up to DSD 512 without prior PCM conversion. Powered by a high-frequency sine-wave power supply, the R 2500 R provides subterranean low-end authority, instantaneous dynamic delivery, and an imperceptible noise floor.
