Overview : Developed to celebrate T+A's 40th anniversary, the M 40 HV redefines reference power amplification by seamlessly merging the unique harmonic qualities of vacuum tubes with the unlimited current capability of solid-state technology. Housed within a massive 52 kg compartmentalized solid aluminum chassis, this amplifier completely eliminates mechanical vibrations and electromagnetic interferences. The input stage utilizes hand-selected triode tubes operating under high-voltage rails, providing rich tonal color, effortless liquidity, and natural presentation across vocals and acoustic instruments. This tube stage is coupled to a High Voltage (HV) solid-state output stage operating at elevated voltage levels to ensure linear operation without heavy global feedback. Operating in Pure Class A up to 60 Watts, the M 40 HV delivers micro-dynamic detail and absolute noise-free background, before transitioning into Class AB to deploy up to 1000 Watts into 4 Ohms. Capable of driving the most difficult speaker loads, it merges emotional musicality with relentless low-frequency control.
