In 1994, Triode Corporation was established in Koshigaya Saitama by its president, Mr Junichi Yamazaki. Initially, it was a small company based in Mr Yamazaki's garage, with the aim of creating high-end tube amplifiers at affordable prices for hifi enthusiasts. After a few years, Triode began to attract the attention of the hifi world and expanded its range of tube amplifiers to include some very high-end models. The company currently has around 20 models of tube amplifiers, known for their high-quality sound and reliability.

In 2014, Jun-ichi Yamazaki decided to embark on a more sophisticated design of the tube electronics brand, creating the high-end 'JUNONE' model. Using some of the best components available on the market, the JUNONE offers a natural and authentic sound. The name was chosen to be called 'Number One' because of its overall performance.

Today, Triode celebrates its 25th anniversary and Jun-ichi Yamazaki wants to show customers around the world that the company continues to develop new technologies to create authentic music. So he has created a milestone in his work, the MUSASHI and TRZ-300W in 2019. In 2020, he finally produced the 'JUNONE' again. The JUNONE 845S is the iconic amplifier using triode tubes that is the origin of the company's name 'TRIODE'. Yamazaki continues to seek further innovation, as shown by the launch in 2021 of a new tube amplifier called 'EVOLUTION'.
