Technical Specifications

• Chassis and Materials:
  The Darkstar is constructed from a blend of POM (Polyoxymethylene) and polished aluminum. The POM chassis, also known by the brand name Delrin (a registered trademark of Dupont de Nemours), offers remarkable stability and excellent damping properties. This resin, which combines the qualities of metals and plastics, is resistant to impacts, moisture, and temperature variations. The chassis is suspension-free, relying on mass and material technology to neutralize vibrations.

• Platter and Drive:
  The massive aluminum platter, weighing approximately 7 kg, is specially treated to minimize vibrations. The concentric grooves on the underside enhance its inertia and stability.
