the story
In mid-2009, we decided to finally start making a living from what we really love. As seasoned music lovers and trained musicians with a wealth of experience in recording, mixing, production and sound restoration on the one hand, and trained mechanical engineers on the other, we decided to commercialise our longstanding hobby and passion - the development, improvement, design and construction of turntables.
We set up the company "tt recycled" (turntable recycled), www.ttrecycled.com, with the main aim of offering turntable upgrading and optimisation services, as well as turntable recycling and redesign. In a short space of time, we have established ourselves as local turntable specialists, successfully recycling, redesigning and upgrading turntables for local customers. In addition to commissioned projects, we produced a number of turntables using our own successful design ideas. These models quickly gained popularity with local audiophiles, winning the 'Best sound award' at the Belgrade Hi-Files Show 2010.
The idea
Based on the design of our own turntable, we wanted to create a high-quality record player that would be exceptional. The idea was to combine musicality and beauty in an electromechanical object that plays vinyl records. At the same time, we focused on ease of use and installation.
The result is the Hermes DCX turntable.
After extensive listening tests and a great success at the Hi-Files show in Belgrade in 2011, we decided to offer the Hermes DCX turntable worldwide.
And so Soulines was born.
