Your entire playback chain in one device

  1. Three components in one – network player, DAC and headphone amp combined: fewer cables, less clutter.
  2. Tube or solid-state, on demand – match the sound to every pair of headphones and every recording.
  3. More from every file – DSD2048 Remastering reveals finer detail in your music.
  4. No headphone too demanding – up to 4,676 mW RMS, even for the hardest-to-drive models.

A complete source, from streaming to headphones

Designed in England, the iFi iDSD Phantom replaces a network player, a DAC and a headphone amplifier on its own. Stream Qobuz, Tidal or Spotify directly, no computer needed. Its XLR and RCA line outputs also let it feed active speakers or an amplifier.

The sound you choose

In real time, switch from crisp, fast Solid-State mode to the more fluid Tube mode, with hand-matched NOS GE5670 valves, or to Tube+ for even richer warmth. The circuit stays fully balanced Class A in every mode.

iFi iDSD Phantom highlights

  • DSD2048 Remastering – four Burr-Brown DSD1793 chips and a dedicated FPGA refine every file: more micro-detail and a more natural soundstage.
  • JVCKENWOOD K2HD – restores harmonics lost in compressed files, for more lifelike timbre.
  • Rare power reserves – precise control of high-impedance headphones and power-hungry planar models alike.
  • Sound tailored to your headphones – XBass Pro adds bass without clouding the midrange, XSpace Pro takes the music out of your head.
  • Easy every day – Roon Ready, AirPlay 2 and the iFi Nexis app, with over-the-air updates.
